The Bayview Harbor Board of Directors has proposed expanding the Association’s paint palette to include modern color options from Benjamin Moore. The exterior paint guidelines have also been updated to reflect these options, creating a more streamlined process for homeowners.

A physical copy of the proposed paint palette is available to view at the Community Office during regular business hours.

The Association is responsible for the maintenance of the common areas (greenbelt and sidewalk curb-strips). The City of Alameda maintains the trees and plants in the curb-strips. Reserve funds are designated for future replacement of major components.

Homeowners are responsible for placing the garbage and recycling containers on the street for weekly pick-up and containers are to be stored out of public view except for the day preceding pick-up and the day of trash removal.

In Bayview Harbor, the CC&Rs require homeowners to park their vehicles in their garage, driveway, or designated parking areas.

• Parking in your garage instead of the driveway or street helps:

  • Provide space for visitors

  • Keep streets clear for early-morning City street sweeping

  • Reduce the risk of vehicle accidents

  • Maintain a more attractive community appearance

Because the City of Alameda owns the streets within Bayview Harbor, abandoned, commercial, or recreational vehicles parked in violation of City Parking Codes should be reported to the Alameda Police Department at 510-337-8587.

Residents of Bayview Harbor are encouraged to visit the community’s bocce ball court and help maintain it to the high standards of quality established for everyone to enjoy.

Residents of Bayview Harbor are asked to control their pets to prevent disturbing neighbors.

• Persistent or prolonged barking, howling, or unusual noises violates Alameda Municipal Code Section 7-3.10.

• Any such violation is also considered a violation of Section 4-10.5 and is subject to the penalties outlined in Section 4-10.12 of the Alameda Municipal Code.

• Board meetings are held at 8:30 AM on the second Thursday of the month, quarterly.

• Homeowners should watch for meeting signs posted throughout the Association, check the online Community Calendar, or call the Community Offices for confirmation.

• The Annual Membership Meeting is held in March.

• All homeowners are welcome to attend.
