A coalition of Bay Farm Island Homeowners’ Associations and Temple Israel invite the public to attend this in-person, two-hour candidate forum. Sunday, October 11 at 2:00 PM Temple Israel, 3183 Mecartney Road Hear the candidates respond to a select number of Bay Farm Island questions and share what they would do, if elected, to help shape the future of our Bay Farm community. Scouting America (formerly the Boy Scouts of America) is launching our their Scouting for Food community service campaign this November. Across Alameda, thousands of Scouts and volunteers are rallying to collect non-perishable food items to support our local food bank. Your participation is needed to fight local hunger! Here is how you can help: Saturday, November 7: Scouts will distribute door hangers detailing the food drive and requested items. Saturday, November 14 (Collection Day): Please place your non-perishable donations outside on your doorstep or porch by 9:00 AM.
