Welcome to Seastrand Homeowners Association
Association Maintenance Responsibility
Seastrand homeowners enjoy the privilege of belonging to the most exclusive neighborhood in CHBIOA. The Association maintains the mailbox strips and the portions of common area adjacent to the two paths leading to the City path behind the homes, in addition to the rear yard wrought iron fence and retaining wall. Wood fence maintenance is the responsibility of the owners making use of the fence, while fencing between neighbors is the shared responsibility of the two owners. Front and rear yard maintenance responsibility falls to each homeowner. Consult the Seastrand Architectural Rules for details.
The land directly behind the homes in Seastrand is maintained by the City of Alameda. If you have any maintenance issues regarding that portion of land, please contact the City of Alameda Parks and Recreation Department at (510)773-3889.
Trash Pick Up
Individual unit trash pick-up is the responsibility of each resident. The Association has been granted a deferment from the Alameda Recycling Green Waste Program.
Parking
Please park your cars in garages, rather than in driveways or on the street. This allows a clear path for early morning City street sweeping, reduces the risk of accidents, increases open parking for visitors and presents a more splendorous Association overall.
