Bay Isle Pointe

Welcome to Bay Isle Pointe Homeowners Association

Bay Isle Pointe is a 362-unit Planned Development of single family homes. It is the largest Association within the Community of Harbor Bay Isle, occupying over 60 acres, including 14 parks and mini-parks; and bounded on both sides of the East Lagoon by Island Drive, Davey Drive, Oyster Pond Road and The Landing Shopping Center.

Homeowners of Bay Isle Pointe enjoy picturesque views across a lagoon that runs through the center of the neighborhood and around its western edge. They are members of the Association and contribute monthly dues to both it and CHBIOA. The Association maintains the common area parks and walkways, as well as the curb strips within the Association boundaries. Residents are responsible for maintenance of their lots including the front sidewalk and all fences (excluding those on Island Drive and Davey Drive).

Association Maintenance Responsibility

The Association is responsible for the maintenance of the parks, playgrounds and walking paths within the open space common areas, including all landscaping. For their part, homeowners are required to adhere to the Bay Isle Pointe Architectural Guidelines.

Amenities- Parks/Playgrounds

There are 8 parks within Bay Isle Pointe and 5 of the parks contain play structures. Most of the parks are situated on the lagoon or have lagoon views and are interconnected with walking paths and bike trails. These amenities offer and encourage an active lifestyle, with endless opportunities to enjoy our “urban forest.”

Trash Pick-Up

Homeowners are responsible for placing the garbage and recycling containers on the street for weekly pick-up and containers are to be stored out of public view except for the day preceding pick-up and the day of trash removal.

Parking

In accordance with the CC&Rs of the Association, all owners are to park their vehicles within their garage, driveway, or designated parking areas.
As the City of Alameda owns the streets within Bay Isle Pointe, please report abandoned or dilapidated vehicles, commercial vehicles, or recreational vehicles parked on the street that are in violation of City codes to the Alameda Police Department at 510-748-4508.

Pets

Control your pets so they do not disturb your neighbors. Dogs barking continuously in excess of 10 minutes violate the Municipal Code of the City of Alameda.
