Now in its sixth year, this family-friendly holiday drive helps clothe the women and children residents of Alameda’s Midway Shelter, their safe house, and the San Leandro Shelter with new, cozy jammies, socks, and underthings to open on Christmas Day. Bay Farm residents, Merideth and Kevin Mehlberg, host the drive on behalf of their executive career coaching company, MMI.
The Intercultural Committee will welcome the new year with our friends from CHBI. Cost of lunch is $8 for members and $10 for nonmembers. Any additional contribution of your new year specialty is welcomed. Please RSVP to Alice Cheng, 510-604-4002 (texting preferred).
