The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct a continuous full closure of the Northbound 880 Onramp at 23rd Avenue for two consecutive weeks, from September 28 – October 15, 2018, to complete the connector ramp for the new 23rd Avenue Overcrossing onto Northbound I-880 in Oakland.
Advance warning message and detour signs will be in place to assist motorists. The new 23rd Avenue Overcrossing is tentatively scheduled to open the third week of October, 2018.
