There have been many homeowners complaining about recent work done by the City of Alameda to trees in our community. Many trees have been drastically pruned and now appear disfigured and unsightly. Stop City Vendor From Butchering More Trees

The Community Board of Directors will have on its agenda a request to send a letter to City Council complaining of the tree butchery along perimeter streets throughout Harbor Bay. All concerned individuals should use SeeClickFix to report the worst of the trees that they see and request the City cancel the contract with the current tree vendor, and find one that is better qualified to properly prune and/or remove trees. Corica Park Fire Tower Restoration

The restoration of the abandoned Fire Tower at Corica Park’s entry is underway. Greenway Golf is excited to transform this long-neglected site into a visually attractive focal point that brings vivrancy into the environment. The design will add a new element to Alameda’s public art collection and enhance sustainability. The restoration will start in September of 2024 and be completed by mid-November. Ongoing work at Pump Station M

Bridge Construction

PUMP STATION M – EBMUD project from Packet Landing and Across the Channel

July 28, 2022 East Bay MUD is currently doing utility potholing on the shoreline dirt path behind the tennis courts.  This work should be completed by early next week. The work at the Packet Landing Pump Station M, it is currently on-hold while we are doing the shoreline potholing work. The Pump Station M rehabilitation work should resume mid August and ramp up by September.
