New General Surgeon at Alameda Hospital
Alameda Hospital is pleased to announce that General Surgeon John Lee, MD has joined its Medical Staff. Dr. Lee completed his undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley and received his medical degree from the University of Vermont. Following medical school he completed his general surgery residency through the University of California San Francisco – East Bay General Surgery Residency Program. During his last year of residency, he served as Chief Resident. He also received Best Resident Teacher Award in 2011-2012. Dr. Lee spent time in our Surgery Department on a rotation through Kaiser’s General Surgery Program. He is well known to the Alameda Hospital employee staff and his peers on the Medical Staff.
Dr. Lee’s presence expands the capacity and provides needed coverage for Alameda general surgeon, Roberto Celada, MD, provides general surgery on-call services to the Emergency Care Center and provides additional physician coverage at the Kate Creedon Center for Advanced Wound Care. Dr. Lee’s office is located at 501 South Shore Center West, Suite F, Alameda. Appointments can be scheduled by calling his office at (510)814-4630.
Dr. Lee lives in Alameda, is raising his family, and has fulfilled his desire to work on the Island. The Hospital and medical community are pleased to have him join them in their efforts to provide quality care within our City.
