Community Workshop: Mecartney Road/Island Drive Intersection Improvements
The Mecartney Road/Island Drive Improvement Project aims to improve safety at this busy Bay Farm intersection. The City is considering four options: 1) a roundabout, 2) a reduced footprint all-way stop, 3) “do nothing”, or 4) a traffic signal, as shown in this presentation. Based on an analysis of the intersection and data on these configurations, the safest options are the roundabout and the reduced footprint all-way stop. We invite you to participate!
