The Architectural Services Department assists homeowners with issues pertaining to the Community’s Architectural Review Process.
The goal of this process is to:
- Protect the “urban forest” environment of the Community of Harbor Bay Isle;
- Preserve a consistent standard of appearance within each of the 20 neighborhood Project Associations;
- Enforce established Architectural Guidelines as approved by the Project Association Boards and the Community Architectural Committee, and as detailed in the Community Architectural Rules and Standards;
- Provide Design Reviews prior to the City of Alameda Building Permit Process;
- Ensure that properties are kept in good order;
- Maintain property values.
